Shauna was born and raised in AZ. She graduated from Brigham Young University with honors in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in nursing and a minor in business management. While at BYU, Shauna was part of the 2001-02 women’s basketball team that made it to the NCAA Sweet 16. Upon graduation, Shauna worked as an operating room nurse for five years in Utah and Arizona. Shauna then graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010 with a Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shauna practiced as a nurse practitioner in Hawaii for five years and developed a love for the diverse culture experienced while there. Hobbies include playing the piano, volleyball, basketball, and exploring new places with her three kids and husband. Shauna is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing.
