Dr. Laxmi Kotha was born in India and moved to Michigan when she was in elementary school. She spent her formative years in the Metro Detroit area. She attended Albion College in Albion, MI, where she received her BA in Biology and Religious Studies. She then received her MD at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, where she discovered her love for women’s health. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Corewell Health-Grand Rapids/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, MI.
Dr. Kotha is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She takes pride in practicing evidence-based medicine and emphasizes educating her patients so they can make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
After graduating residency, Dr. Kotha decided to venture out of the Midwest in hopes of warmer weather, and she’s certainly found it in the East Valley! In her free time, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She is excited to see what Arizona and Lilac Ob-Gyn have in store for her!
