Dr. Caitlin Walker received her medical education through the University of Illinois and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Her program included significant exposure to high risk obstetrics and extensive hands-on experience with minimally invasive gynecology. She received recognition for her excellence as chief resident, clinical research, and multiple awards for her leadership and natural ability to connect with her patients.
After completing her training, she decided to escape the Midwest with her husband, Clay, and her dog, Emmy. She is originally from a small, rural town and, inherently, loves getting to know her patients and their stories. She has a passion for women’s health and strives to provide compassionate, individualized care. She prides herself on practicing evidence-based medicine and encouraging patients to actively participate in the discussion of their care, ensuring they receive the best care possible.
When she’s not getting to know her patients, operating, or helping mothers bring their newborns into the world, she is busy elsewhere — hanging out with her friends, family, or doggo, climbing with Cody on her Peloton bike, kicking hard in a tae kwon do class, trying out a new brunch spot, hiking up a mountain, or getting lost in a good book. She loves going out to eat, being in the sun, and anything Harry Potter.
