Dr. Vivian Nguyen was born in Vietnam and moved to Arizona during her elementary school years. Her formative years were here in the East Valley! She attended Hamilton High School in Chandler and went on to Arizona State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her dual bachelor of sciences degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology.
Dr. Nguyen left sunny Arizona for the East Coast to attend medical school at Johns Hopkins. It was during medical school that she discovered her passion for women’s health through her advocacy work and volunteering at the local free clinics in Baltimore. She completed her Ob/Gyn Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she served as one of the Administrative Chiefs and Wellness Chiefs of her residency. During her residency, Dr. Nguyen received awards for her surgical skills and her commitment to the Baltimore community.
Now that her training is completed, Dr. Nguyen is ecstatic to be back in Arizona with her husband, baby daughter, and her 2 dogs (an 18-year-old mutt and a 2 year old mini Australian shepherd)! In her free time, she enjoys exploring Arizona’s best happy hours, baking, trying new workout classes on ClassPass, and binging the newest show on the couch.
