Heather Young is an Arizona native, born and raised in the West Valley, with more than 15 years of nursing and healthcare experience. As a Nurse Practitioner at Advanced Women’s Care – Goodyear, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized care to women through every stage of life.
Heather began her nursing career in 2008, caring for critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular and Medical ICUs. In 2010, her passion for women’s health led her to Labor & Delivery at Banner Estrella, where she had the privilege of supporting women and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.
In 2020, Heather earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, she has continued to focus her practice on obstetric and gynecologic care.
Heather believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening. She strives to create an environment where patients feel heard, comfortable asking questions, and empowered to take an active role in their health. She is especially passionate about patient education and helping women better understand their bodies, options, and care so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
As a wife and mother of two, Heather understands the challenges women often face balancing the needs of their families with their own health and well-being. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys working out, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family.
